Here at the Universidad Del Norte we offer graduate programs at a specialization, master and PhD levels in compliance with Colombian laws and institutional agreements with others universities worldwide.

The specialization programs are those that are developed after an undergraduate program and make possible the improvement in the same occupation, compatible or complementary profession, discipline or areas.

The main goal of Master degrees is to offer advanced academic programs, on research methodology or deepening of the knowledge, oriented to the solution of theoretical, disciplinary, interdisciplinary or professional problems, and helping to develop research abilities in a specific area of science or the technologies, as well as in a field of the philosophy, the humanities and the arts.

On the other hand the PhD programs lead to the maximum educative title that is conferred in Colombia and must like object generate new knowledge in science, art and technology, result of the development of the thought and of deep the research experience of those who reaches this level of formation.

Our graduate programs are bound to lines of investigation, projects and publications in the specific field of each program thus the university will guarantee the high academic level of the formation, so that the students manage to prepare themselves for the development of the research, scientific and academic activity, and the specialized professional performance, responding this way to the requirements of the progress of the science and to the necessities of the country.
