• One readable photocopy of the identification document and the passport.
• One readable photocopy of the undergraduate degree with its corresponding translation into Spanish.
• Two document size photos
• Undergraduate transcripts.
• Curriculum vitae.

Documents needed after admission:

• A readable copy of the student visa
• A photocopy of the foreign citizen identification document (issued by the Security Administration Office, DAS in Colombia )

Foreign citizens willing to undertake graduate studies in Colombia do not need their degrees to be validated or homologated. This is stated in Decree 860 from the National Ministry of Education, which rules Article 14 from Law 30 of 1992, April 4th, 2003.

The ordinary temporal student visa is issued by the External Relations Ministry and or the Colombian consulate agents in the country of origin of those interested in developing advanced higher studies as regular students.

The External Relations Ministry can issue the student visa for a period of one year. The visa will be annually revalidated until the student obtains his/her degree. The visa must be presented to the university every year of studies.
