Specialization in General Physics
Universidad del Norte, conscious of the present situation and with the spirit of continuing to contribute in the creation and consolidation of an investigative culture in advanced Physics in the Caribbean Region, offers the Specialization in Physics, taking care of the specific necessities of the region, in particular the quality of the human personnel towards which it is directed.
This program aims towards the fortification of knowledge of professionals in the area of physics and not in the qualification of the use of techniques that work towards the improvement in the education of physics. The objective is to prepare specialists in the area of physics in such a way that they have solid knowledge that allows them to develop theoretical and experimental systems.
Specialization in Applied Statistics
Through the Specialization in Applied Statistics, Universidad del Norte offers the community an extension and deepening program in statistics, offering ample technical-scientific content supported in an excellent environment with highly qualified of professors recognized for their academic vocation. In addition, through this specialization, Universidad del Norte, will be able to offer theoretical and practical support, oriented towards the extension and deepening of knowledge in statistics for professionals of diverse areas (health, social, engineering, economy, etc.) committed to the application of statistical methods. Inclusively, this program has been oriented so that it can be understood by students with elementary mathematical formation.
