It is of great honor for me to welcome you to the Link of the School of Health Sciences of Universidad del Norte's Webpage. On it our students, graduates and visitors will find suitable means to keep in touch with its alma mater, to stay updated with our services and programs, as well as to know the new features that are arising every day.

For all those visiting us for first time through this means, it pleases me to tell you that our University is accredited for its Academic Excellence by means of resolution 2085 granted by the Ministry of National Education on September 5, 2003, a date in which we were one of the three universities of the country receiving such distinction. Also, our Medicine program received accreditation from the Ministry of National Education by means of resolution No 4505 on December 2, 2004 for six years, the maximum time granted to medicine programs in the country.

Also, responding to a national and international necessity the Nursing program has made changes in its curricular structure to allow graduate professionals to evolve with high levels of efficiency in the country or in the exterior. All of our groups of investigation of the Division are classified in Colciencias, some of them obtaining participation in partnerships at national and international levels. We cannot leave aside the postgraduate programs offered by the division, which grant qualifications of high quality to the human resources in the area of the health.

The Hospital Universidad del Norte has also become center of excellence for the integral formation of our students, most of the clinical rotations are students participating in our under and postgraduate programs. Finally, as the first graduate in reaching the maximum academic distinction of the Division, the only thing left for me to do is invite you to get to know all the actual information referring to our programs.
