President's Welcome Statement

Universidad del Norte has immersed in the great network of internationalization and knowledge, starting with the voluminous information that is distributed by so many different communication channels.

The development of knowledge in each discipline, the increase of interrelations in specific areas, the intensive but rational use of technologies, the fortification of scientific communities, committed professors and the quality of learning the students receive are some of the great tasks that the university participates in to confront and reach greater levels of excellence. Therefore, entering close relationships with the national and international academic world.

In addition, the University's commitment to educational development is understood within a strong bond of culture and sustainable human development. This commitment provides us possibility to become actively involved in less pragmatic and immediate dimensions of knowledge, nevertheless urgent or universal. We are building new dimensions of human dignity, values and quality of life.
