Why Spanish? Spanish is one of the most widely-used languages in the world. In fact, more than 450 million people speak Spanish! You can communicate with people not only in Spain, but also across the Americas and the rest of the Caribbean. Likewise, you can also enjoy reading the works of well-known writers such as García Marquez, Cortázar, and Vargas Llosa in their original language and understand the lyrics of Spanish songs when you're dancing salsa and merengue. The Instituto de Idiomas offers high quality programs, which provide students with a solid preparation in the learning of a foreign language. Our institutes methodology is based upon a communicative approach. With many years of experience, the Spanish for Foreigners Program combines multidisciplinary course offerings with a variety of social and cultural activities. This program enrolls students from many different countries. Participants have the opportunity to become involved in Intercultural Exchange and understanding. Programs Highlights
