| This issue of the Discernimiento virtual magazine is brought up
to our readers with a huge interest to increase the Psychology program quality from its
different dimensions. Understanding quality as an abstract concept characterizing for
being conceived by a multiplicity of administrative factors and also, academic, with
physical resources and student center activities. In our previous publication, with the object to motivate how to discern, we ask out readers the following question: What does education quality means in the Psychology Program? In a self-evaluation environment , with our goal of accreditation, that we are moving in since last year, interesting responses were given that show the School of Psychology different community members interests for helping the self-evaluation and better quality development. Different concepts came up such as, human, social and research development, growing as whole academic and administrative processes. It is well known that the quality of education goal has to be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the program, its implications, and the relationship between theory and practice. The invitation is to continue working fin quality search by reflection and criticism and by the active participation in the academic, cultural and research experiences at the program. This publication has with it important news; the first one is the ISSN code (0124-0897) of our virtual magazine, which is given by ICFES and it assures it is going to be world wide known and , the second is, the first English version of the magazine, which will have important benefits, after all, as the intercommunication between the world and the scientific community. |
