- ¿What is APSIUN?
- It is a non-profit psychologists association, established under Colombian laws, in which
psychologists are represented before the scientific community.

- What are its objectives?
- Its social objective is to associate professionals in the area of psychology graduated
form Universidad del Norte with the purpose of supporting them in their integral
development.

- Divulge and control the accomplishment of the norms established in the Professional
Ethic Code approved by the Professional Psychology Board.

- Increase the permanent exchange of experience to facilitate the personal, professional
and social development of its members.

- Promote the scientific and technological advances through the participation of its
members in seminars, specialized courses, teleconferences and other scientific events.

- Promote the development of postgraduate programs for Universidad del Norte
psychologists, before the academic directors of the institution. These programs would be
designed taking into account the professional needs of the members of the association.

- Analyze problems related to human and psychological development. and the opportunities
to solve them, at regional and national level,

- Benefits of APSIUN membership
- Being an APSIUN member allows to know the state of the art of the different topics of
their field of treatment through modern psychological processes and directly related to
the different areas of psychology application.

- Besides APSIUN, through a database system, can offer a portfolio of services that allows
its members to identify and work on continuing improvement processes that different
education, social, industrial and clinical institutions will demand

- Moreover, APSIUN allows its members to publish information related to their professional
experience in their field of work and contribute to regional and community development.
Its members also have the support of the association which allows them to become respected
members of their scientific community and permits the establishment of psychology as a
discipline and profession legally renown under Colombian laws.

- How to become a member?
- Graduate from the Psychology program of the Universidad del Norte or to be enrolled as a
student of the 9th or 10th semester.

- Express verbally or in written form the intention of becoming a member.

- Deposit in Conavi saving account number 492-7193639 the corresponding payment according
to your status: Professionals: $ 30,000 pesos. Students: 15,000 pesos.

- Send a copy of the deposit to the Psychology Program at Universidad del Norte.

- Enclose the original deposit plus a photograph with your name written on the back to
obtain your association card.
