El compartir, es una palabra que trae a nuestra mente aspectos como esfuerzo, trabajo en equipo colaborativo, responsabilidad y dar respuesta a las necesidades sentidas por las comunidades.  Ante esto, el docente debe asumir un rol activo para cooperar dentro del significado de lo expuesto.  Viene a mi mente  el  recuerdo de un audiovisual presentado por un conferencista en un congreso de filosofía, que exponía acerca de la responsabilidad docente; al leer las palabras proyectadas “dos entes” lo hice en forma lenta para comprender lo observado; pude entender  que las palabras encerraban   la existencia de dos seres, que para el caso que nos convoca no son imaginarios,  son  reales; un ente que participa con su fuerza de trabajo y todo su conocimiento y otro ente que siempre está repensando su quehacer pedagógico, sin cansarse, privilegiando la expectativa  para buscar nuevas oportunidades para transformar, lo cual me hace pensar que la palabra clave compartir promueve esos dos entes

Lo anterior me lleva a expresar que las universidades se comprometen cada día en su papel y compromiso con la sociedad, es por eso que sus proyectos educativos institucionales cada vez se fortalecen y crecen con el compartir de  nuevas ideas, creaciones e innovaciones que transcienden en los extremos de las nominaciones -de lo local a lo global-.  A esto se le agrega que estas iniciativas son la suma participativa de todos. Si me intentas darte una fórmula la labor docente implica:

Dos entes= participación comunitaria + apoyo institucional + contínua reflexión y acción.

Cuando interactuamos con docentes del mundo, nos identificamos por el compartir de metas comunes, ideas que sumadas a las nuestras potencian movimientos y acciones positivas, pero sin el apoyo del segundo componente de la fórmula sería muy complicado.

Cuando revisamos experiencias de aprendizaje basado en servicios  derivadas del trabajo de colegas de las redes y vemos toda esa energía instalada en trabajo comunitario que busca contribuir a los problemas de salud, entonces se siente  que el ejercicio académico más allá de los muros, genera mucha más  felicidad, porque allí mismo podemos evocar el recuerdo de cualquier postal vista en la infancia,  con letras fijas y con algunas palabras contenidas que decían “soñaba que la vida era alegría, desperté y vi que era servicio, y al servir me di cuenta que era alegría”.

En nuestra institución contamos con las CAD que promueven nuevas formas de relacionar tu acto pedagógico donde podemos compartir experiencias y generar otras nuevas. Las CAD (Comunidades de Aprendizaje Docente de la Universidad del Norte) son puntos de apoyo institucionales que nos permiten conocernos y reconocernos como compañeros, amigos y aquel, “el  otro”  toma valor conmigo “y el yo toma valor con él”. Estamos seguros que compartir genera sinergias, por lo tanto los invito a dar clik a los siguientes videos académicos, y ahora viene tu momento de reflexión, no te lo pierdas, y recuerda que cuentas con el segundo componente de la fórmula derivada de  “dos entes”

Sharing is a word that brings to mind things like effort, teamwork, responsibility and responding to the felt needs of communities. Given this, the teacher must take an active role to cooperate within the meaning of the above. I remember a presentation from a philosophy conference where the speaker addressed teacher accountability; he talked about "two entities" which led me to understand that the words enclosed the existence of two beings: one is an entity that participates with its workforce and all his knowledge and another entity that is always rethinking their pedagogy, without getting tired, privileging the expectation to seek new opportunities to transform, this synergy leads me to think about the force that brings them together:sharing.

This leads me to express that universities are committed to society through their educational offerings, that is why service learning projects increasingly strengthen and grow with the sharing of new ideas, creations and innovations that transcend from the local to global realms. It stands to reasons that these initiatives more than the sum or their parts and require sharing and collaboration to work, if we were to make a mathematical formula it would look something like this:

Two entities = institutional support + community involvement +  continuous reflection and action.

Through our interactions with colleagues from around the we discover that we share common goals all leading to improving the wellbeing of others.  We also realize that academic initiatives cannot succeed without the active participation of the communities we serve. 

When reviewing experiences based on service learning advanced by colleagues in our professional networks we realize the importance of extending learning opportunities beyond the classroom.  These experiences are especially important in the health field where it is easy to measure the impact on the communities we serve.  It is then that we realize the value added to our student who not only expand their academic horizons, but also experience happiness that cannot be obtained anywhere else.  This happiness brings to mind the long forgotten words read in a postcard in childhood which read "I dreamed that life was joy, I awoke and saw that it was service, and then realized that service was happiness".

At Uninorte we have the CAD(Comunidades de Aprendizaje Docente de la Universidad del Norte)  which is designed to promote collegial interactions and the exchange of pedagological experiences with the idea of creating new venues as a result of said interactions.  The CAD is then an opportunity for getting to know each other as colleagues and friends and to realize that we can support each other’s work.   We are confident that sharing creates synergies, so I invite you to view the following videos and take a few moments to reflect on what it means to be an engaged teacher.  Do not miss it and remember that you are a big part of the  "two entities " discussed by the philosopher.
