The aspirant to be a Bachelor of Child Pedagogy must have the following characteristics:

The professional skills (competences) of the Bachelor of Child Pedagogy in general are the following:

  • To learn how to teach children.
  • To know what it is, how it is processed and what is child pedagogy for. 
  • To know how to organize, manage and develop educational processes.
  •  To learn how to evaluate educational systems and practices. 
  • To know how to propose, develop, systematize and evaluate educational and classroom projects.
  •  To know how to articulate the pedagogical practice to contexts. •
  • To know how to design and develop educational mediations. •
  • To know how to question and discuss the educational and children's reality.
  • To know how to accept his/her professional identity as a Bachelor of Child Pedagogy.
For the development of each one of these skills it is necessary to carry out the development of skills (savoir-faire), activities and values (to know how to be) as well as knowledge (to know how to know).

In our program we train competent Educators to work in the area of early childhood education, educational administration, the management of social projects, the research and development of projects oriented towards work with, by and for children; able to assume a leadership role and to have an impact on education and the development of the country. In the exercise of the profession, the graduate will be prepared to:

  •  Advise educational projects both in public and private institutions.
  • Design helps and materials for educational programs.
  • Organize recreational companies that lead recreational programs in industrial, business and social entities.
  • Design and implement educational computer programs for childhood education centers.
  • Participate in international organization projects that help children.
  • Organize and direct public and private childhood education centres.
  •  Promote educational programmes in favour of marginalized communities and/or communities with physical, emotional and intellectual limitations.
  • Design and implement programmes on radio and television with educational and recreational purposes.
