He graduated of Television Design and Production in 1999 from Desing Center Taller Cinco in Bogotá, Colombia. He has participated in many workshops and courses as “Dramatic estructure for televisión series” (Universidad de Palermo) Buenos Aires, and “Introduction to Doccumentary creation” and “Creativity: Practice and intuition”, both given in 2005 by Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2009, he traveled to Cuba and participated in the “International Workshop for developing projects in film and TV for the kids and the youth” given by EICTV. In 2011 he assisted to the “Story” seminar given by northamerican scriptwriting instructor Robert Mackee. In 2013 he won an FDC scholarship in agreement with Universidad Santiago de Cali, in the 1st International Diplomat in audiovisual contents for child audience. His experience as profesional scripwriter includes tv series as “Francisco el Matemático”, “Jack el Despertador”, “Francisco: Clase 2004”, and colombian adaptations on “Floricienta” and “Mujeres Asesinas”. Andres is the creator of the original idea, design and scriptwriting of the series “A Mano Limpia” (Seasons 1 and 2), Cuarenta” and “La Toma”, all of them for Canal RCN. During 2009 and 2015 he chair the Consulting Board of VP Projects in Canal RCN. In 2015 he wrote and advised in scripts for films and short films. In 2015 he debuts as director with the short film “La vía Láctea”
